Karl Kaas Laursen (M.Sc.EE.)
Space Projects Manager

Graduated from Aalborg university in 2005 with specialty in intelligent autonomous systems and did two years of research in estimation for hybrid systems applied to spacecraft formation flying.

He is an expert in electronics for space applications as well as development and implementation of reliable software for mission critical applications.

He has been the lead architect for Command and Data-handling systems for no less than three satellites: SSETI-Express, Bumanetz, and AAUSAT-II. From AAUSAT-II he has experience as a systems engineer and attitude control engineer.

Lars Alminde (M.Sc.EE., PhD)
Managing Director

Graduated from Aalborg university in 2004 with speciality in intelligent autonomous systems, and holds the PhD degree from the same university in advanced model based methods for control and estimation.

He is a capable systems engineer and an expert in model based control and sensor fusion in complex electro-mechanical systems, with emphasis on attitude and orbit control systems for spacecraft.

For AAU-Cubesat he was in charge of the command and data-handling software and software integration, for SSETI-Express he was responsible for the attitude control and determination system.

Morten Bisgaard (M.Sc.EE., PhD)
Senior Engineer

Graduated from Aalborg university in 2004 with specialty in intelligent autonomous systems and holds a PhD on advanced modeling and control of autonomous helicopters from the same university.

He is an expert in modelling and simulation of motion control systems and an expert in instrumentation and advancd sensor fusion techniques.

He was one of the driving forces behind AAU-Cubesat with responsibilities within all electronic subsystems. For SSETI-Express he produced the camera payload based on the AAU-Cubesat engineering model.

Niels Buus
Chairman of the Board

Independent professional with many years of executive management experience from successful companies in communication, security and defence related industries. An expert in strategy development and execution.

Originally a professional automechanic before taking a degree in mechanical engineering from Aalborg University. During 11 years of employment at Purup Electronics, he managed to get time off to study at London Business School and then acquire a position as Head of the Radar Division at Terma A/S where he spent 5 years, before becoming CEO of GateHouse in the period 2001-2007.

Niels Buus was awarded the AIH Leadership Prize In 2006.

Carl-Erik Jørgensen
Representing Novi A/S

As a Portfolio Manager in Novi Innovation A/S Carl-Erik Jørgensen has been working with seed financing since July 2008. He is a chairman and board member for several early stage companies and co-responsible for new investments, portfolio management and exit decisions.

Prior to this Carl-Erik has been working in the Banking and IT industry for more than 20 years in executive positions representing: Nykredit A/S, Nykredit Bank, Sonofon and KMD. He has extensive experience in finance, controlling, leading software development and consultants, organizational development from a start up position, contract development and negotiations.

On the theoretical level Carl-Erik holds degrees in Finance, Organization and Strategic Development from Copenhagen Business School.
